SEND Support Assistant - Level 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at St Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School.
We are a centre of excellence for inclusion and require a passionate, caring individual to join our dedicated team of staff. The SEND Support Assistant at St Cecilia's Catholic Primary School plays a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access a high-quality, inclusive education. Working closely in partnership with class teachers and the SENCo, the role focuses on delivering targeted support to pupils who experience learning difficulties, ensuring that they can make progress in line with their potential. This position is essential in fostering an environment where all pupils, including those with EHCPs and SEND, can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Given the school’s context—serving a high deprivation area with a significant proportion of pupils eligible for pupil premium, EAL learners, and SEND—this role supports the school’s vision to provide a nurturing, inclusive, and ambitious learning community.
