Welcome to 5B!

PE Days: 

Our PE days take place on Tuesday and Thursday each week.

We will be going swimming every Thursday until the end of the Autumn term.

Please ensure that your child has the correct kit with them on these days. 

Homework: 

• Homework is set every Monday and should be returned the following Monday.
• Maths homework will be set on Freckle. The Freckle class code is 558b4p. To access Freckle, students must go to student.freckle.com and then proceed to type in their name and code 558b4p.
• Each Monday, the pupils will be tested on their weekly spellings. Children can practice these spellings on spellingframe.
• We also encourage daily reading at home, or at least 4 times a week. Reading records are checked every Tuesday. Children who read regularly will receive gold star stamps, which contribute towards earning their special gold star badges.
• We will also suggest optional projects to help deepen and extend the children's learning during the half-term breaks.
